If one feels the need to scold someone or imply that they’re not a “good neighbor” because they lost or damaged a dust jacket… then don’t bring your books to a LFL. People like this note-writer suck the joy out of everything with their pernicious meddling. Personally, if I do happen to return a LFL book, I bring it to whichever LFL is nearest (not necessarily the one I borrowed from) just like returning a DCPL library book. Never imagined you were expected to return the books you take or that someone would take it upon themself to monitor the library this way. I too assumed LFL was a give, take or exchange type of deal.
